Learn to make a picture book.
From someone who has.
A 5-Module Video Course
Everything I know about making a picture book. Yours to keep.
I trained at Cambridge School of Art. I've made books, visited hundreds of schools, lots of libraries, performed at festivals, and spent years figuring out how this industry works. This course is everything I learned — distilled into five modules you can work through at your own pace.
By the end, you'll have a complete dummy book ready to pitch to publishers. And you'll know what to do with it.
Everything you need to make a picture book and pitch it to a publisher.
Presentation slides and videos. A reading list, podcast recommendations, and an updated list of competitions worth entering. Six months access from the day you enrol.

ABOUT CELINA
Celina Buckley is an illustrator, author, and artist based in Co. Cork, Ireland.
She holds an MA in Children's Book Illustration from Cambridge School of Art, where she was runner-up in the Ronald Searle Award for Creativity. Since then she has facilitated illustration and book-making workshops at festivals across Ireland — Red Line, Electric Picnic, International Literature Festival Dublin, Kaleidoscope, Bookville — and in schools in Ireland, Belgium, and Germany.
She was Illustrator in Residence at the Red Line Book Festival in 2025 and has received support from the Arts Council of Ireland and Creative Ireland.
What drives her work is a belief that observational drawing can genuinely change how a person sees — and that finding your own visual language, once it clicks, is one of the most fulfilling things you can do. This course is everything she knows about picture books, all in one place.
